What is Truecaller Business Messaging
Truecaller Business Messaging lets a business send and receive messages with Truecaller users. Messages arrive inside Truecaller under the business's verified profile, which shows its display name and logo. A message can be plain text, rich media, or interactive, and can support a two-way conversation.
Gupshup has integrated Truecaller Business Messaging into its CPaaS stack, so you can reach Truecaller users alongside your other messaging channels.
How it works at a glance
- Get a sender set up. A sender represents your business in Truecaller. Gupshup sets it up for you, and it must be approved before you can message anyone.
- Pick a category. Authentication, Transactional, Service, or Promotional. The category sets what the sender may send.
- Send messages. Text, media, and interactive messages go to eligible Truecaller users, within the limits that apply to your sender.
- Converse (optional). If 2-way messaging is enabled, users can reply, and you can respond within a 24-hour conversation window.
