Creating and Analysing a Click-to-WhatsApp Campaign
Creating a CTWA campaign on TTAM
Log on to TikTok Ads Manager, go to campaign and click on "Create"
Campaign Level:
Step 1: Log on to TikTok Ads Manager, go to campaign and click on "Create"
Step 2: Choose "Lead generation" as your campaign objective
Step 3 (Optional): Split Test can be used for Targeting, Bidding & Optimization, Creative
Step 4: Click "Continue"
Ad-Group Level:
Step 1: Choose "Instant messaging apps" as your "Optimization location"
Step 2: Placement will be TikTok by default. Now set up the audience, location, dayparting and budge as needed
Step 3: Under Bidding and Optimisation, choose "Conversations".

Ad Level:
Step 1: You can choose to use a TikTok identity to deliver Spark Ads but it is not mandatory. Add the creative or video
Step 2: Add the Text under "Text" to enter the headline of the ad
Step 3: In the next option, add the CTA that users will click on to redirect to WhatsApp
Step 4: Under "Destination", select "Instant Messaging Apps", and select "WhatsApp"
Step 5: Add the WABA number under "WhatsApp ID"
Linking an ad journey to a campaign
Step 1: Click on "Click to Chat Ads" -> Ad Management, and click on "Ad Campaigns"

Step 2: Search for the campaign that has been configured for Tiktok to WhatsApp and click on "View Ads"

Step 3: Click on "Connect Bot" and in the pop-up that opens, click on "Confirm"

Step 4: In the bot setup page, select the Ad Journey created and click on "Publish". Your TTWA campaign is now active.

Setting up retargeting
Step 1: When you click on the CTWA configured campaign under “Ads Management”, click on the “Retarget” button

Step 2: Select the WA approved messaging template and journey along with the number of hours after which you want the lead to receive the first retargeting message

Step 3: You have the option of sending 2nd and 3rd retargeting message by clicking on the toggle on the right. DND window signifies the hours in-between which leads will not receive any retargeting messages
